Finished Leftover Dreams! God, it was a good book! The ending was so sweet! I need to go to the library tomorrow and sign out some more books, all the ones I have I've read already. Meanwhile... (shows how random I am) I noticed, for some odd reason, on my Powerpuff Girls beach towel (don't laugh!), Blossom's dress is white, not pink. Looks kinda weird. If I didn't buy it from Kmart, I'd swear it was a bootleg.

So tired. Did housework most of the day. Thinking of getting a job and saving up for an apartment. There's not too much around here that I can afford, or I think I can afford, but maybe if I get a good paying job, I can get a decent place to live. Planning on reading most of the night. I'm reading this great book by Charlotte Vale Allen, called Leftover Dreams. The mom in the book sounds a lot like my mom, only my mom doesn't hit me. She's as evil as Maggie, though.

Everyone's asleep. Mom would kill me if she knew I was still up. I hate being home from college, Mom puts too damn many limitations on me. I'm not a fucking kid anymore. ...ergh, I just get so worked up sometimes. She treats me like a little kid. It drives me crazy. When I'm at college, I can see who I want to see and do what I want to do, whenever I want it. When I'm home, I can only go out with friends Mom likes, and I have to be home by 9 pm. Fucking 9 pm. God, why don't you just ground me, Mom? She probably will at some point.

This is my first entry. Obvious, isn't it? Figure I'll introduce myself. My name's Kate. I'm 21, in college, and somewhat disgruntled most of the time. I live with my horrid mother and my two sisters. I'm single. I like to draw and paint.

Other than that, I'm pretty boring, and, I'm convinced, a waste of space.
